Introductions
Hello, Hello,
If you are reading this then well met my beautiful reader and thank you for giving me this little slice of your day.
I feel I should first and foremost begin with an introduction of sorts because i feel I have come a very long way since my first blog posts of mummy's coffee morning.
Indeed, I am still an over caffeinated (caffeine induced anxiety included), mummy. The days of toddler group recs and reviews of suitable cafes for a screaming toddler who continually resists the confines of a pushchair...high chair or in fact any of the products designed to keep himself safe are -thankfully- behind me. Yes, yes of course its bittersweet and I will never get those little squishy hand, sticky face, smooshed snack, skipped nap days back. I do know that and I am ever appreciative I had that time, however and this is a big however here.
HOWEVER, I lost myself a bit there. Three sheets to the wind and knee deep in rusks and cheese puffs. I am now referred to as bruh almost as many times as mummy and I'm okay with this because every stage is new and different and interesting AF.
It seemed right to begin a new space for myself at this time. I'm a thirty four year old single mother, divorced, with a new name pending and I have only gone back to university haven't I?! Because of course I have. It was either that or join a pyramid scheme and start trying to sell juices or something.
Honestly though, I have never felt better. Which is alarming to some but utterly makes sense to others and I am okay with that. As I begin my next chapter, in fact fuck that I've thrown that book out the window, we are on an entirely new book now and its covered in fucking glitter and stardust baby!
It's also very cheap...because wow money doesn't go far and it probably has eye bags.
I digress.
If you are still here, well done you because I am twitching in my seat already! Welcome to the new blog, the new spot ,the space for...well I'm not sure what exactly yet but a place to share some work, some musings, some writings, to practise my voice and share those brain splurges.
Have a very fucking fabulous day.
